CUMULUS MEDIA | KANSAS, KS is offering a rare and significant part time opportunity as On-Air Talent for legendary top-ranked Classic Rock 101 The Fox, KCFX. This position may include additional on-air, on-site, and digital/promotional duties within Cumulus. We are looking for a proven professional with a history of success, a strong work ethic, highly organized, who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Absolute reliability and schedule flexibility required. The ability to quickly learn and master the station group\'s studio audio equipment and automation systems, a relentless passion for creating audience engagement, and energetic on-site connections at station and client events are the foundation for success in this position.

CUMULUS | KANSAS, KS is the dominant cluster leader in our market. Delivering nearly 1M listeners every week, the seven Kansas City-area stations include: 101 The FOX KCFX-FM Classic Rock, 94.9 KCMO-FM Classic Hits, 95.7 The Vibe KCHZ-FM Top 40, 107.3 KMJK-FM R&B and Hip Hop, 105.1 The X KCJK-FM Alternative, 710/103.7 KCMO Talk Radio, and KCMO-FM HD2 102.1 Jack-FM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Host and/or Co-host on-air
• Run the control board in the studio and maintain technical accuracy of on-air programming.
• Execute delivery of all commercials as scheduled
• Monitor and rebroadcast required EAS Alerts, Weather Warnings, Ambers Alerts, and Breaking News.
• Ability to host live on-site events.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

• 10+ years as successful on-air talent.
• Proficient with computer systems such as Microsoft Office Suite, Op-X, AudioVault, Wide Orbit, ENCO, Soundforge, Nuendo, Adobe Audition or other audio editing and automation programs
• Reliable with a flexible schedule, available to workdays, nights, weekends and possibly holidays
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Audio production skills
