The Okta Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions using Okta. This role involves building secure authentication flows, integrating applications with Okta, developing automation for lifecycle management, and supporting enterprise-level identity governance initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement IAM solutions using
Okta Workforce Identity
,
Okta Identity Engine (OIE)
, and related modules.
Integrate SaaS and on-prem applications using
SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC
, SCIM, and API-based provisioning.
Develop custom logic using
Okta Workflows
, hooks, inline scripts, and Okta APIs.
Manage user lifecycle processes including provisioning, de-provisioning, and attribute management.
Configure and maintain
SSO
, MFA policies, conditional access, and authentication policies.
Build automation for identity processes using
Okta API
,
serverless functions
, or scripting (Python/Node.js preferred).
Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, and integration issues across environments.
