Position Summary:
This position is an integral part of the Hope & Safety Alliance team providing front desk coordination.
The Office Services Support duties include but are not limited to
Operating a multi-line system to answer calls and transfer calls.
Notifying staff of scheduled appointments.
Greeting clients, visitors, and donors.
Maintaining call logs.
Assist in fulfilling client needs.
Disinfecting/maintaining the office in accordance with CDC guidelines.
Ensuring safety protocol related to authorized entry procedures.
Assist Office Coordinator in Processing all in-kind donations.

You have familiarity with crisis de-escalation techniques and can use mature judgment in decision-making and conflict resolution.
You understand the impacts of trauma and the importance of delivering collaborative, trauma-informed services for survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
Required Qualifications:
Written and spoken Bilingual fluency in English/Spanish required.
Experience working at a front desk and answering phones.
Well organized, creative, empathetic, and people oriented.
Highly skilled in oral and written communication, and active listening.
Understanding necessity of strict adherence to confidentiality.
Excellent judgment and strong interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail.
Excellent communication and time management skills.
Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, the internet, and learn new computer programs as needed.
Background Check:
The Department of Justice requires Hope & Safety Alliance to conduct a background check, fingerprint report, and a search of local and national sex offender registries based on each state of residency for the previous five years.
Work Environment:
This position requires long periods of time working at a computer and talking on a telephone. A domestic violence agency environment can potentially shift from stable to highly charged, and all employees must remain calm, creative, and flexible.
