Baier Automotive Transport & Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated

Office Operations Support

professional to join our Auto Logistics Brokerage team. This entry-level role offers a unique opportunity to grow with a company in its

semi-startup phase

, where innovation, adaptability, and teamwork drive our success. You will play a key role in shaping processes and contributing to a fast-growing business while gaining hands-on experience in logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:



Administrative Support:

Assist the brokerage team with day-to-day administrative tasks, including data entry, document preparation, and record maintenance.

Load Coordination:

Input load details into TMS (Transportation Management System) software, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Driver Communication:

Support communication with drivers and carriers, providing load details, pickup and delivery updates, and addressing basic inquiries.

Documentation Management:

Organize and process essential documents such as load confirmations, invoices, and proof of deliveries (PODs).

Customer Service:

Handle inbound customer calls and emails, providing timely and professional responses to general inquiries or status updates.

Scheduling Assistance:

Assist in coordinating pickup and delivery schedules with customers, carriers, and drivers.

Reporting:

Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, or monthly performance reports as directed by management.

Compliance Support:

Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations by maintaining accurate records and assisting with audits.

Qualifications:



Education:

High school diploma or equivalent (required). An associate's degree in business, logistics, or a related field is a plus but not required.

Experience:

No prior experience is required; however, familiarity with logistics, transportation, or customer service is a plus.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with TMS software or Fleetio is an advantage but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
