Job Description

A reputable healthcare system in southern New Hampshire is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its outpatient Behavioral Health team. In this role, you will support psychiatrists, therapists, and clinical staff in providing safe, efficient, and patient-centered care to individuals with a wide range of behavioral health needs. This position is ideal for a nurse who values relationship-building, enjoys a structured clinical setting, and is committed to supporting patients on their mental health journey.

Key Responsibilities

Assist providers with intake assessments, vital signs, medication histories, and ongoing clinical monitoring. Support medication management visits, including preparing patients, coordinating refills, and assisting with prior authorizations within scope. Provide patient education on medication adherence, side effects, and wellness strategies. Triage patient phone calls, messages, and walk-in concerns. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with privacy and regulatory standards. Support clinic flow by scheduling follow-up visits, managing patient communication, and helping maintain a calm, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited nursing program Active RN license Prior behavioral health experience is highly preferred
