Summary
We are seeking an Office Manager to join our team at Waterloo Community Playhouse. In this role, you will support our daily operations by providing customer/patron support, providing staff support, and ensuring the smooth functioning of our office environment. Your contributions will be vital in helping us deliver exceptional experiences to our community.
Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer support via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
Provide office management tasks including filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly financial responsibilities are completed with detail, accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
Coordinate communication between people to ensure efficient operations.
Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution.
Requirements
High School diploma or GED.
Proven experience in an office assistant or administrative role is preferred.
Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks effectively to ensure that all tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
Knowledge of social media applications and website maintenance is preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with all employees.
Knowledge of live theatre performance is preferred.
