Job Summary


The office manager is responsible for the coordination and documentation of inbound and outbound load information, while assisting customers in a courteous and efficient manner.

Essential Functions

Enter load information into applicable computer system Make sure trucks and personnel are dispatched in the most efficient way Check in and out all truck traffic and trailer movements Confirm status on all outbound loads daily, obtaining ETA's and confirmation of shipment Enter breakdowns from inbound load sheets Process new-hire, termination, and disciplinary paperwork in a timely and efficient manner Conduct DOT driver training and ensure compliance Lead personnel in Tool Box talks and other Safety policy & procedure training and document training Maintain work orders, EIO Board, ACCESS (logging equipment and payroll hours) Maintain PO log Maintain a clean and organized work area Assist the general manager with additional duties as needed

Work Environment


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to use standard office equipment, such as, laptop or desktop computers, copy and fax machines, and answer a multi - line phone system.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.

Required Education and Experience



High School Diploma. A year of previous clerical or office administration experience.

Preferred Education and Experience



Previous experience in a similar industry or transportation industry.
