About the Role (Read This Carefully)

This is a hybrid clinical + office role, but phlebotomy is a core, non-negotiable part of the job.

We are specifically looking for someone who is comfortable and confident drawing blood and supporting in-house labs and who enjoys helping with phones, scheduling, and clinic organization.

If you love variety, patient interaction, and being part of a small, collaborative team, this role is likely a great fit.

What You'll Do

Clinical & Phlebotomy Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture and prepare lab samples for processing Take vitals and prep patients for visits Assist with in-office procedures and chaperone sensitive exams Help maintain lab supplies and organization Assist with in-house medications (counting, labeling, organizing)
Office & Patient Support

Answer phones, schedule appointments, and support patient communication Triage messages and refill requests for the doctor Communicate with outside offices for medical records and referrals Help track preventive care and health maintenance Order and manage office & medical supplies Perform light sanitation and clinic upkeep
No two days are exactly the same and that's intentional.

Who This Role Is For

This role is ideal if you:

Are a phlebotomist or clinical assistant with blood draw experience Feel confident working directly with patients Are organized and comfortable with basic tech (Google Docs, spreadsheets, scheduling systems) Self-starter who is invested in helping find ways to improve and grow the practice. Schedule & Pay

Starting at ~12 hours per week. $21/hr. Expectation for increased hours over time, up to full-time (40 hrs/week) as the clinic grows

About the Practice & the Doctor

You'll work directly with Dr. Sherman, a board-certified Family Medicine physician, fifth-generation Mesa native, and mom, who intentionally built this clinic to deliver the kind of care she believes medicine should be.

This is a one-doctor clinic by design, no corporate layers, no bureaucracy, no confusion about who you're working with. Communication is direct, teamwork matters, and your role is essential.
