We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Office Manager to lead the daily operations of our busy office environment. Duties
Oversee all aspects of office administration, including clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records.
Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors, handling multi-line phone systems, and ensuring excellent phone etiquette.
Handle vendor management by sourcing supplies and maintaining positive relationships with vendors and monitoring inbound and outbound shipments.
Oversee human resources functions such as onboarding new employees, managing payroll processes using Peachtree (Sage 50) or similar accounting software, and supporting employee relations.
Assist with budgeting and bookkeeping tasks to monitor office expenses and ensure financial accuracy.
Manage OSHA and DOT requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Renew business licenses and registrations.
Maintain efficient filing systems--both digital and physical--and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
Support office management initiatives that improve workflow efficiency and workplace safety standards.
Coordinate calendar management to optimize productivity.
Experience
Proven supervisory experience in an office environment with a track record of leading teams effectively.
Extensive office experience including clerical work, administrative responsibilities, and front desk management. 10 key proficiency is essential.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Office. Excel use and understanding is critical. Microsoft Access is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to multitask across various projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in Sage 50 for payroll processing and financial recordkeeping; familiarity with bookkeeping practices is essential.
Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts to secure favorable terms.
Background in human resources functions such as onboarding, employee records management, insurance questions, and payroll administration.
Excellent communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette to interact confidently with clients, vendors, and team members.
Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor under pressure.
