We are a small lumber manufacturing and sales company seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee daily office operations and ensure a smooth workflow within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative, supervisory, and communication skills, with experience in office management, human resources, and financial processes. This role requires a versatile professional capable of managing multiple tasks such as , vendor relations, bookkeeping, payroll, safety documentation, and regulatory documentation . The Office Manager will play a key role in maintaining an efficient office environment.
Responsibilities
Manage daily office operations including front desk duties and multi-line phone systems.
Supervise administrative staff and coordinate training & development initiatives
Handle human resources functions such as onboarding, employee records, and compliance
Manage vendor relationships and procurement processes to ensure office supplies and services are maintained
Oversee bookkeeping, payroll processing, budgeting, and financial recordkeeping using QuickBooks or similar software
Plan and coordinate company events, meetings, and special projects
Maintain filing systems, records management, and document organization for easy retrieval
Ensure effective communication across departments through phone etiquette and clear messaging
Support medical office management tasks if applicable to the organization's scope
Experience
Proven experience in office management or administrative roles with a strong background in clerical and organizational duties
Supervising experience with team management capabilities
Familiarity with QuickBooks or comparable accounting software for bookkeeping and payroll processing
Experience in event planning, vendor management, budgeting, and human resources functions
Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multi-line phone systems and front desk operations
Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in calendar management, filing systems, and office procedures
Previous experience in medical office management is a plus but not required
Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $48,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
