New Tech Global Staffing is currently seeking an Office Coordinator for a client located in Caseyville, Illinois to join our team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.
Pay: $25 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours/week, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Summary
Responsible for performing clerical and administrative tasks to support daily office operations. Duties include greeting visitors, answering and transferring phone calls, sorting and delivering mail, and coordinating with internal departments to ensure smooth workflow.
Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests upon arrival and direct them to the appropriate person
Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls promptly
Maintain a tidy and presentable front office with necessary supplies (pens, forms, brochures)
Provide accurate information in person, via phone, and email
Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries
Maintain office security by monitoring visitor logbook and issuing badges
Coordinate with Finance and Quality departments to process invoices for services and repairs
Order office supplies and maintain inventory
Update calendars and schedule maintenance or repair visits
Keep accurate records of office expenses and costs
Perform administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of office or administrative experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other office software
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Professional, personable, and attentive with strong interpersonal skills
Problem-solving and analytical skills
