Job Description

Reporting to the Executive Director and working directly with the Development, Finance, Marketing and Enrollment Departments, the Office Coordinator will work in the main Business Office of the Catholic Academy of Bridgeport and support the areas of Management, Fundraising, Finance, and Marketing/Enrollment.

Role and Responsibilities



Accurately process, record, report and maintain precise information on all gifts and donors in our database. Knowledge of Little Green Light software a plus. Manage gift acknowledgement process, ensuring the accurate and timely processing and acknowledgement of all gifts and pledges. Coordinate correspondence, donor touchpoints and reporting for the Academy's Rising Stars student sponsorship program, and work as the campus liaison with our four principals in related areas. Provide support for the planning and execution of special events. Eventually prepare biweekly, monthly and quarterly reports. Proofread correspondence, along with Marketing and Development collaterals and monthly e-newsletters. Assist Director of Finance to facilitate CAB new-hire and onboarding processes. Carry out clerical duties including filing, answering the phone, and data entry. Produce mailings, when needed. Take and distribute minutes at Board Meetings (six times per year). Other duties and special projects as needed.

Qualifications



Minimum 2 years' experienceas an Administrative Assistant in a busy environment or the equivalent. Demonstrated excellence in secretarial skills. Strong attention to detail and a strong ability to write and proofread is a must. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills. Demonstrated initiative and is able to work independently and collaboratively with all members of the Business Office staff. Professional discretion and ability to work with prioritized information in a confidential manner is a must. Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of apps and database management. Experience with Independent/Private Schools is a plus. Minimum Associates degree required.
