Job Responsibilities

Serves a records manager for open case files. Checking case status for awaiting court cases through public index. Maintains accountability of open case files. Transferring case files from active to inactive. Responsible for ensuring warrants and bond hearing are completed. Log served warrants, email, and files. Schedule hearing based on location inmate is currently housed. Responsible for the procurement of supplies and equipment for SCDC OIG. Must keep abreast of procurement practices. Ensure items are received and invoices are processed. Serves as back up human resources liaison for SCDC OIG. Attend meetings on personnel related matters and keep employees informed of updates/changes. Provides liaison assistance between outside law enforcement to include research projects as directed. Serves as back-up for the Administrative Coordinator II/Manager for the Inspector General's Office.

Job Responsibilities



Serves as records manager for open case files. Checking case status for awaiting court cases through public index. Maintain accountability of open case files. Transferring case files from active to inactive records upon closing and filing as needed for open case files. Responsible for ensuring Warrant & Bond hearing are completed. Receive copy of served warrant and bond hearing paperwork from General Counsel. Receive inmates served warrants from agents - log, email, and file. Schedule hearing based on location inmate is currently housed. Prepare packets for monthly delivery to magistrates for scheduled hearings. Enter arrest information in PCM after service and update log. Responsible for the procurement of supplies and equipment for SCDC OIG. Must keep abreast of current procurement practices. Follow-up to ensure items are received and invoices are processed. Responsible for preparing bid and solicitation requests and obtaining all needed quotes and specifications to all purchasing needs are handled in the appropriate manner. Serves as back up human resources liaison for the SCDC OIG. Attend meetings on personnel related matters and keep employees informed of personnel and program updates/changes. Provides liaison assistance between outside law enforcement (SLED/other states LE/counties, etc.) to include research projects as directed. Assists with preparing reports, pulling statistics for presentations, and preparing presentations as directed. Serves as back-up for the Administrative Coordinator II/Manager for the Inspector General's office.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements:




A high school diploma and relevant experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services or a bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required work experience.

SCDC Minimum Requirements:




(Or an acceptable equivalency as approved by the Division of State Human Resources).

A high school diploma and two (2) years' experience with a law enforcement agency in a records management or administrative position.
