General Prerequisites:
- This is a full time, on-site position. 8 am to 5 pm, Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Friday. Overtime might be necessary occasionally.
Other requirements:
- Be available to travel to trade shows and possibly other meetings as necessary
- Be able to work and think independently, while using judgement on asking questions where necessary in order to ensure best outcomes
- Continue to learn and evolve with the changing and growing needs of the position
Required Skills:
- Experience in a high volume office environment vitally important
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, as well as internet navigation. Comfortable using excel, including formatting and basic formulas.
- Strong written as well as verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills
- Organized and detail oriented
- Comfortable working independently as well as in a team
Primary Job Duties:
- Answer phones, file, scan, shred, and perform data entry duties
- Expedite full sales process
- Take inquiry
- Quote parts/freight
- Receive order
- Create sales order
- Create invoice
- Create shipping label(s) & shipping document/receipt
- Create quotations for Sales Managers and log, update quote log weekly
- Process customer registration & log
- Create sample parts processing reports and file
- Plan and book travel for management
- Help with coordination of trade shows
- Other job duties to be added as business demands
- Keep work areas clean and orderly at all times
Trade Show Coordination
- Set up contracts with Trade Show Organizations as specified by Vice President
- Organize and coordinate all aspects of trade show planning and implementation incl.:
- Travel (flights, hotel rooms, rental cars, etc.)
- Freight to and from
- Booth set-up
- Pre-show advertising, PR, and e-mail blast
- Payment control and processing
- Lead Retrieval machine, visitor reports
- Attend major trade shows and provide on-site support during show
- Post-show follow up with all visitors
