We are a busy, growing plumbing and heating company looking for a reliable and organized Office Assistant to help support daily operations. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys staying busy, and helping keep an office running smoothly. Construction or service industry experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities:
Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers professionally
Schedule and coordinate service appointments
Assist with invoicing, data entry, and basic QuickBooks tasks
Organize job paperwork (invoices, work orders, permits, etc.)
Communicate with our suppliers
Follow up with customers on past due invoices
Process payments and maintain customer accounts
Handle filing, scanning, and general office organization
Assist with email communication and document preparation
Support the Office Manager with daily administrative tasks
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote productivity
Requirements:
Strong communication and customer service skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc.)
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
QuickBooks experience is a plus (or willingness to learn)
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Construction, plumbing, or service industry experience is preferred
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 24.0 per week
