Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual with strong accounting experience and exceptional computer proficiency. The ideal candidate is intuitive, quick to learn, able to recall information accurately, and demonstrates excellent multitasking and critical-thinking abilities. This role supports accounting functions as well as general operational tasks, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and smooth workflow across departments.

Key Responsibilities



Perform day-to-day accounting tasks including data entry, invoicing, reconciliations, and financial record maintenance Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities Prepare, review, and verify financial documents for accuracy and completeness Use strong computer skills to manage spreadsheets, databases, and accounting software Analyze data, identify inconsistencies, and apply critical-thinking skills to resolve issues Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Organize and maintain digital financial records and support documentation Use intuition and strong memory to track ongoing tasks, anticipate needs, and improve workflow efficiency Communicate effectively with internal staff and external partners to clarify information and resolve discrepancies Assist with reporting, month-end processes, and audit preparation as needed Preparation of documentation and communication with outside accounting firm Enter employee time, coding to jobs as needed for billing and job tracking Arrange shipments as need for incoming and outgoing materials

Required Skills & Qualifications



Proven accounting or bookkeeping experience Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Strong memory and ability to retain complex information Excellent multitasking, organization, and time-management abilities Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to learn quickly and apply intuitive understanding of workflows and systems Strong written and verbal communication skills Must pass a soft background check

Preferred Qualifications



Experience with data analysis, reporting tools, or process optimization Familiarity with payroll, budgeting, or cost tracking Prior experience in an office, administrative, or operations support role
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 - 30.0 per week
