Job Description
Oscoda, MI (on the old Wurtsmith Air Force Base)
*Minimum Starting Wage $15.00 per hour
Follow established manufacturing processes to produce products and components and follow repair procedures to restore worn and/or damaged products and components to serviceable condition using composite materials and technology.
Follow Process Control Documents, SOPs and work instructions to manufacture and/or repair products with little or no supervision, with little or no rework
Follow and support safety, quality, regulatory and procedural rules, policies and guidance
Always keep work area clean and neat
Perform other associated tasks as may be assigned
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Read, write and understand the English language
Proficient with computer keyboard, mouse and screen.
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted occasionally and lesser weight frequently
Stand for extended periods of times, stoop, bend at the waist, climb stairs/ladder
RECURRENCY TRAINING: WE TRAIN ON-THE JOB,
AS9100 Familiarization, Drug and Alcohol Awareness, FOD Prevention, Human Factors, Safety Management System/HAZCOM
CORE COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:
Cleanroom Procedures, Cleanroom Bond and Prep Procedures, Mixing Epoxies, Adhesives and Fillers, Using Pneumatic Hand Tools
Additional requirements: You must provide or procure your own tools etc.
FULL TIME SCHEDULE (overtime is mandatory when required, hr unpaid lunch, paid breaks):
Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm 8.5 hour days/5 days (40 hours per week)
