We are seeking a skilled and motivated

Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

to join our hospital-based therapy team. The OTA will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality therapeutic interventions that promote functional independence and improved quality of life for patients in acute and inpatient settings.



Responsibilities


Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist. Assist patients with therapeutic activities to improve mobility, self-care, and functional performance. Provide patient and family education to support safe discharge and continued progress. Document treatments, patient progress, and responses in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with OTs, PTs, nursing, and other members of the interdisciplinary team. Contribute to team meetings, discharge planning, and program development initiatives.

Qualifications


Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program. Current State OTA License (or eligibility for licensure). Current BLS/CPR certification. Strong communication, teamwork, and patient engagement skills.
