Occupational Therapist /Hand Therapist position at our

Westlake Village

location. We are in the process of expanding our rehabilitation departments to provide exemplary services to additional patients.

The OT must exhibit exceptional interpersonal skill, multitasking ability, and display a passion for orthopedic occupational therapy. The OT will be responsible for maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations and guidelines and California state licensure is a requirement. The OT is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of pre and post operative orthopedic patients, including high school to professional level athletes, in state-of-the-art orthopedic facilities.

Qualifications:
1. A valid California OT License in good standing
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience treating orthopedic patient in an out-
patient setting
3. Certification in Hand Therapy and/or certification in treatment technique (i.e. ASTYM)

Education:
Graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapy program with a minimum of a Bachelor's of Science in Occupational Therapy

Essential and Secondary Duties and Responsibilities
1. Evaluation of patients referred to the clinic
2. Establish treatment plan of cares
3. Treat using accepted Treatment modalities and Procedures geared to progressing patients toward meeting their functional goals
4. Able to safely deliver treatment considering the physical requirements of the job
5. Able to complete all documentation the day services are rendered
6. Meets minimum productivity standards set by CRM
7. Attend a minimum of 30 contact hours per year of continuing education that can include up to 10 contact hours received thru SCOI sponsored educational opportunities.
8. Assure staffing meets the need of the schedule while maintaining appropriate ratios according regulation
9. Fulfill duties assigned by the Directors or managers.
10. Acts as clinical instructor for OT students and is responsible for ensuring their field study objectives are met.
11. Markets the CRM to outside referral sources as needed.
12. Assists in clinical and administration decisions to best optimize clinic function
13. Assures adherence to SCOI and CRM policy
14. Assists in the training of clinical and support staff
15. Assists with the 90 day and annual performance reviews of all clinical staff
16. Constant contact and open dialogue with the directors and satellite managers regarding scheduling, policy changes, personnel issues, CRM equipment, and patient care.
17. Able to complete tasks on the computer utilizing various software programs
18. Maintain their License issued by the State of California
19. Maintain in good standing with the Office of Inspector General; AOTA; State Medical Board
20. Maintain current CPR certification
21. Other duties may be assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
