Outpatient

Position: Adult Neuro Occupational Therapist

Status: Full-Time

Pay Range: Starting at $80,000 and goes up depending on years of experience

** Up to a $5,000 sign on bonus **

Dignity Health in Henderson Nevada is seeking a FULL time neurology occupational therapist for our adult outpatient neuro center. Our unique center treats a diverse population focusing on neuro conditions with our pediatric neuro center in the adjoining suite. We have a large multi-disciplinary staff offering OT, PT and SLP services in a supportive team environment. We seek dynamic, like-minded clinicians with at least one neuro clinical experience. An experienced occupational therapist with neuro residency is HIGHLY preferred. This is a 40 hour work week that will include some Saturdays as we are open from 7am until 7pm for our continued success.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the evaluation, plan of care, treatment, re-evaluation, discharge, and appropriate communications of high quality hand therapy services to patients and customers.
• Develop treatment plans, supervise assistants and aides, contribute to case management, and provide quality patient care.
• Maintain positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school for Occupational Therapy.
• Must hold specialty certification or licensure in Hand Therapy.
• National registration and state licensure or registration REQUIRED.
• Minimum of two years experience in application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic required.
• Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation; hand and splinting experience required.
• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
• Valid state driver\xe2\x80\x99s license.
