Adventist HealthCare Acute Care Rehabilitation seeks to hire an Occupational Therapist (OT) who will embrace our mission to extend God\xe2\x80\x99s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As an Occupational Therapist (OT) you will:

  • Communicate with team members, customers, managers, etc. to coordinate plan of care and provide optimal patient experience.
  • Administer occupational therapy interventions and treatments according to agency\xe2\x80\x99s accepted policies and procedures.
  • Apply and implement appropriate therapy knowledge and plans patient care with appropriate patient goals.
  • Complete documentation requirements in a proficient and timely manner.
  • Assume responsibility for personal and professional development.
  • Administer and supervise occupational therapy treatments to patients with a wide range of health problems under the direct orders of a physician/podiatrist.
  • Coordinate care patients with other skilled care providers to plan, implement and access treatment programs.
Qualifications include:
  • Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited occupational therapy program
  • 1-year site specific preferred
  • Active Maryland License, AHA HCP CPR, CLT from Klose or Norton for lymphedema therapists
  • Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Work Schedule:

Per diem minimum requirement of 2 weekend shifts per month + holiday shift rotation.
