• Duel-Facility role between Via of Carlisle and Via of Fleur
• Wage is 43-48/hr

JOB SUMMARY:
As an Occupational Therapist (OT) you are responsible for evaluating and providing rehabilitation services to patients who have physical, cognitive, or emotional challenges that affect their ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs). As an OT, you work to help residents regain independence and improve their functional abilities, ensuring a higher quality of life while promoting safety in their daily routines. The role includes individualized assessments, developing personalized therapy plans, providing treatments, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. The OT is responsible for maintaining resident records adhering to state and federal regulations.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Must be adaptable, flexible to changes, and able to prioritize and organize work efficiently.
• Help foster an environment that promotes growth and development of team members.
• Create and maintain a warm and inviting atmosphere promoting collaboration between residents and their family, team members and partners in care.
• Ability to utilize charting software.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) or eligibility for certification.
• CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, as required by state regulations.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance documentation requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team.
• Ability to work independently, manage a caseload, and meet productivity standards.
• Responsible for maintaining professional licensure and CEU requirements.
• Proficient with computers and have the ability to learn health information technology as it relates to therapy.
• Knowledgeable of therapy practices and procedures as well as the applicable state laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Must be capable of performing the Essential Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
