Overview:
Location: Bear, DE
Schedule: M-F, 2-3 days per week. Days and Hours TBD, 20 hrs. per week
Department: Human Resources
Pay: $26.50 - $39.76/hour
Reports To: Occupational Trainer Manager

WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL DO

• Conduct injury evaluations and safe work observations with current employees
• Ergonomic risk assessment and corrective action planning
• Physical conditioning and rehabilitation
• Conduct physical ability tests on safety-sensitive applicants
• Participate in worksite health promotion and marketing activities
• Provide wellness training and services at driver meetings
• Apply lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position

Qualifications:
YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in athletic training, exercise science, or kinesiology
• Ability to resolve complex problems and make independent decisions
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Word

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE

• Ability to interact well with employees in multiple work areas and locations
• Strong motivation for personal learning

ROLE SPECIFICS

• Work weekend hours in rare instances.
• Occasional overnight travel (1-3 times per year) to company locations or to attend seminars and meetings to develop professional expertise. Must have ability to travel independently as needed, without restriction, by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train.
