Job Description
We are seeking a Full-Time New York City Department of Buildings (DOB) licensed Elevator Inspector to join our NYC team. Part time position for this same role is also available, please inquire.
Responsibilities
:Conduct thorough inspections of elevators, escalators, and related systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Identify any maintenance or repair needs and communicate findings effectively to facility managers and maintenance teams. Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of inspections performed Collaborate with local building owners and operators to ensure timely compliance with inspection requirements. Stay updated on industry standards, codes, and regulations.
Qualifications:
Valid NYC Elevator Inspector License Previous experience in elevator inspection, maintenance, or mechanical systems. * Strong knowledge of NYC elevator codes and regulations.
