Peer tutors will provide small-group tutoring of participants in nursing and clinical courses.
Key Responsibilities
Coach and mentor participants
to build confidence, critical thinking, and clinical judgment.
Deliver engaging academic support programming
, including tutoring and workshops tailored to nursing coursework.
Collaborate with university support services
to ensure students have access to the resources they need.
Monitor participant engagement and progress
, providing timely interventions and encouragement.
Supervise peer mentors
, fostering a culture of support and inclusivity.
What We're Looking For
Strong
knowledge of the nursing process
(assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
Proficiency in applying
pathophysiology, pharmacology, and microbiology
to clinical care.
Familiarity with
current standards of care, documentation practices, and clinical reasoning frameworks

Ability to
explain complex nursing concepts clearly and effectively
, using evidence-based approaches.
Skilled in

Qualifications
