Saba Home Health Care is a company that is professional and dedicated to a mission to deliver high-quality home health care to all in need. We are currently looking for excellent Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our growing team for part-time or per-diem supervisor positions. This position would be responsible for providing nursing supervisor duties to our clients and employees while demonstrating our values of integrity, caring and compassion.

$50 an hr

Responsibilities and Duties

Provide assistance with the planning, coordination, leading and evaluating of home health services Provide assistance to the Director of Nursing with the coordination and management of home health services Act on behalf of the Director of Nursing as a liaison with the medical community, clients and agency personnel Ensure adherence to policies and procedures Open new cases/conduct admissions Identify and evaluate client needs and appropriateness of home health care Initiate and review clinical content, diagnoses, medical history, medications and other statuses from client records Provide internal case management Conduct client visits as needed Perform in-home supervisory visits of clinical staff as needed Mentor, develop and supervise field staff (RNs, LPNs, CHHAs) to enhance the delivery of services and professional development Provide daily supervision of nurses and home health aides to ensure quality of service is in line with the required plan of care Execute staff performance reviews during probationary periods and annually with the Director of Nursing Provide assistance with the orientation of new employees Maintain confidentiality of medical records, personnel records, etc., within the scope of their position Participate in any required functions in the absence of, or request by, the Director of Nursing Perform other duties as assigned in a professional matter

Qualifications and Skills

Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in New Jersey and have worked as an RN for at least two years

A minimum of 1 year home health care or equivalent experience is required

Trach/Vent/G tube experience is a plus Prior supervisory experience preferred (clinical oversight, interviewing, competency evaluations, etc.) Ability to demonstrate self-confidence and positive attitude toward self and others Customer-service oriented Strong organizational, interpersonal, assessment and PC skills The ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing

Pay: $50.00 per hour
