Summary

Perform routine treatment procedures as directed. Assist Staff Nurse in complicated treatment procedures. Maintain traction supplies including traction cart every shift. Complete all equipment set up as directed. Report any changes observed in condition or behavior of patient. Communicate any patient complaints of pain to patient's nurse, charge nurse or unit coordinator. Assist in accompanying patient in admission, transfer and discharge procedures. Provide and assist with personal care as necessary such as bathing, dressing etc. Assist with patient care, such as positioning patient, lifting and turning patient with proper body mechanics, etc. Under supervision, perform general care activities for patients in isolation.

Schedule

56 hours every 2 weeks. Rotating day, evening and night shifts Every other weekend and holiday rotation

Pay and Benefits

Starting pay begins at $18.43 per hour and increases with experience.

+ Pay range: $18.43 to $24.44 per hour

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required. Certified Nursing Assistant, preferred. Previous orderly or nurse aide experience preferred.
