We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Home Administrator to lead Valley Manor Health Care facility in providing exceptional care to our residents. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care, with a focus on mental health, memory care, and long-term care operations. This role requires effective leadership skills and a passion for improving the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's, and dementia.
Duties
Oversee the daily operations of the nursing home, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Manage staff recruitment, training, and supervision to maintain high standards of care.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate services for residents, including medication administration and therapy.
Maintain financial oversight, including budgeting and resource allocation to ensure operational efficiency.
Foster a positive environment that promotes resident engagement and satisfaction.
Address family concerns and maintain open communication regarding residents' well-being.
Ensure that all staff are trained in best practices for dementia care and other specialized areas.
Experience
Proven experience in nursing home administration or similar roles within senior care settings.
Background in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care is highly desirable.
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
Strong management skills with a focus on leadership and team development.
Financial acumen related to budgeting and operational management is essential.
Familiarity with social work principles as they relate to elder care is beneficial.
