Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm with rotating weekend on-call every 5 weekends

Sign-on Bonus Available! RN - $7500 LPN - $5000

Job Duties

Round the building, addressing clinical issues as needed. Review the incomplete UDA list and incomplete MNAs Admission audits Audit CNA and nurse documentation Review residents with IV antibiotics (followed by ID) UDA audit whole building. Follow up with staff as needed when assessments are not being completed. Weekly validation for whole building. Assure central supply is clean and organized. Assure soiled utility room, fax, room, and brief storage room are clean and organized Patient cares as needed. Monitoring call lights and responding when indicated. Addressing staffing concerns while present in the building. Work the floor as needed. Communicate falls, facility deaths, changes in condition that occur while I'm in the building. Assist charge nurse come to appropriate fall intervention. Monitor DME supplies (Breathe), assuring that they are being returned appropriately for entire building. Baseline careplan audit entire building. Work the floor if needed as last resort for coverage (additional pay provided for working floor Take call for any call-ins, one weekend a month (additional pay provided for taking weekend call)

Job Qualifications

Must have a current RN or LPN license in the State of Kansas Previous nursing job experience preferred Must have excellent time management skills and be able to work on deadlines Must be able to maintain a courteous, friendly, and helpful attitude with residents, visitors, and co-workers at all times Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs
