Required License/Registration/Certification

Registered Nurse (RN) and must advance on UKHC Nursing Professional Advancement (NPA) within 6 months of hire and annual resubmission required throughout employment in this job title.

Physical Requirements

The ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50-100 pounds on a daily basis; as well as stand, walk and sit for long periods of time. The conditions of work may involve exposure to communicable diseases and injury from intractable patients or sharp instruments.

Shift

Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, may require some holidays.

Job Summary

The Markey Cancer Center Radiation Oncology Clinic is currently seeking a Nurse Team Leader.



This position will work closely with the Nurse Manager, Practice Manager, and Medical Director to oversee the daily activities of the Radiation Oncology Clinic, provide continuity of care, maintain appropriate staffing and scheduling, implement quality improvement measures, and ensure patient safety standard adherence.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Basic computer knowledge, MS Windows, Word, Outlook, clinical applications. Supervisory experience highly preferred, detail oriented.
