Job Summary


At Manhattan Medical Wellness, New York, we are dedicated to improving the quality of life for patients living with chronic pain and non-healing wounds. We use a comprehensive, regenerative, and integrative approach to care. We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner with a focus on wound care to join our growing team.

Duties



As a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner, you will assess, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic wounds, helping them achieve better healing outcomes. You will work in a collaborative environment alongside physicians and clinical staff to deliver exceptional care.

Evaluate and manage a variety of wound types including pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, venous and arterial wounds, surgical wounds, and traumatic injuries. Perform wound debridement and other necessary procedures. Develop personalized treatment plans to support healing and prevent recurrence. Educate patients and families on wound prevention and aftercare. Document findings and treatment in the EMR accurately and timely. Coordinate care with referring providers and specialists.

Qualifications



Must hold a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New York.

Applicants who are in the process of obtaining licensure in NY may be considered, but final

hiring is contingent upon active licensure.

Certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with prescriptive authority in New York.

Wound care certification (such as WOCN, CWCN, or equivalent) preferred but not required.

Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in wound care or a related specialty preferred.

Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and procedural skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a focus on patient education and

collaborative care.

Job Types: Part-time, Per diem

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
