About the Role:
Our client is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners to join their team in Southern Illinois. This position involves providing specialized wound care services to patients in long-term care facilities. If you are a licensed NP with at least two years of experience and a passion for improving patient outcomes, this role is for you!
Position Overview:
As a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner, you will deliver high-quality care, focusing on wound assessments, procedures, and treatments. You will work alongside a dedicated wound care nurse and benefit from comprehensive administrative support, allowing you to focus on patient care.

• Virginia

• Winchester

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct weekly wound care rounds at assigned facilities within the Southern Illinois region.
• Perform wound care procedures, assessments, and document patient encounters in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with facility staff and a wound care nurse to optimize patient outcomes.
• Travel between facilities within a 45-minute radius, with mileage reimbursement provided.

What We Offer:

• Flexible Schedules:

• Full-time (4-5 days/week) or Part-time (2-3 days/week), Monday through Friday, 7 AM - 4 PM.
• No weekends, evenings, or on-call shifts.
• Competitive Compensation:

• Full-time providers earn $16,150-$17,000/month based on patient volume and procedures.
• Comprehensive Support:

• Malpractice insurance provided at no cost.
• Company laptop with wound care EMR system.
• Administrative tasks (scheduling, insurance verification, and coordination) handled by the organization.

About You:

• NP with a valid medical license.
• At least two years of solo practice experience (no new graduates).
• No prior wound care experience is required; comprehensive training will be provided.
• Must be a U.S. citizen (we cannot accept J-1 waivers or visa sponsorships).
