What You'll Do:

Provide advanced, hands-on care to post-operative cardiothoracic patients in collaboration with an expert multidisciplinary team. Conduct comprehensive assessments, interpret diagnostic data, and implement evidence-based treatment plans. Partner closely with surgeons, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure seamless, patient-centered care. Educate patients and families throughout the recovery process, promoting understanding and confidence in care plans. Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough clinical documentation.

What You'll Bring:

Graduate of an accredited

Acute Care Nurse Practitioner

program.

Current NYS NP license and ANCC or AANP certification.

Prior surgical or critical care experience preferred -- however,

motivated new graduates with a strong clinical foundation and passion for surgery are encouraged to apply.

Excellent critical thinking, adaptability, and collaboration skills.
