Position Overview:

As a Nurse Practitioner in our Hematology-Oncology practice, you will work closely with our physicians and healthcare team to provide high-quality, evidence-based care to our patients. Your role will involve conducting patient assessments, managing treatment plans, and providing patient education and support. Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory and imaging studies Monitor patient progress, evaluate treatment outcomes, and adjust plans as necessary Provide patient education and counseling on disease management, symptom control, and self-care Support patients and their families throughout the treatment process, offering emotional and psychological support Document patient care activities accurately and maintain up-to-date medical records Maintain credentials at local hospital for in-patient rounding as needed.

Qualifications:

Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Arizona For those with no prior experience in Hematology/Medical Oncology, a strong knowledge of Primary Care and Internal Medicine is desirable. Excellent clinical skills. Proficient in interpreting diagnostic tests and formulating treatment plans Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize patient care Dedication to providing compassionate care and advocating for the best interests of patients

Pay: $115,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
