Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant: $25,000 per year in student loan forgiveness

Dr. Miniyar's Pediatrics is an approved site for the Federal Loan Repayment Program. Eligible providers can receive

$25,000 per year, tax-free

Key Highlights:

- 1:8 rotation, phone-only, no hospital risk.

4) Screening for "Mommy Calls"

- All parent ("mommy") calls first go to the dedicated telephone medicine care team at Children's Hospital of Atlanta (CHOA). These are specially trained professionals who handle

of the calls. You serve only as secondary backup.

5) Work-Life Balance

- 5-day workweek (Mon-Fri), only 1 Saturday/month (9 AM-1 PM), no Sundays.

6) Daily Volume

- 20-25 patients per day.

7) Streamlined Referral System

Referring patients to specialists is simple and efficient. Providers only need to enter a one-line note in our online referral platform with the patient's account number (not name), specialty requested, and phone number. From there, our

dedicated referral department

takes over -- contacting the specialist, scheduling the appointment, tracking progress, and communicating with parents. We have established processes for labs, x-rays, and other testing, making orders quick and seamless for providers. Everything is already streamlined to save time and reduce extra work.

8) Strong Nursing Support

Our

dedicated nursing staff handles nearly 80% of triage and groundwork

. They check patients, gather concerns, verify vaccination records, and input history, physical exam, and chief complaints directly into the EMR. Providers can then focus on their

core role: executive medical decision-making

-- taking history, examining, and creating a plan of action.

9) Provider-Friendly EMR (MACPRACTICE)

We use

MACPRACTICE,

an Apple-based EMR customized by Dr. Miniyar himself--a pediatrician with decades of real, frontline experience--not by a software engineer. All forms are designed for speed and practicality, allowing most charts to be completed in 60 seconds or less. Our philosophy is simple: finish charts the same day, within minutes after patient care, so providers can go home on time without weekend charting.

10) Location & Flexibility Requirement:

Although each provider is generally assigned to two primary clinic locations on a stable schedule, all candidates must be flexible and willing to cover at any of our four sites (Rome, Cedartown, Trion, Cartersville) as needed. This ensures smooth coverage during vacations, maternity leave, or other schedule changes. To make commuting easy, we strongly prefer that candidates relocate to Rome, GA -- our central headquarters. From Rome, all clinics are within a 25-30 minute drive on rural roads with no traffic, making coverage straightforward and reliable.
