Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) - Gargar Urgent Care And Clinic

Location:

Minneapolis, MN (in-person, outpatient, urgent care setting)

Job Type:

Full-time, Part-time, Temp-to-Hire, Seasonal

Pay:

$65.00 per hour (negotiable with experience & credentialing)

Hours:

16-32 hours per week (Day shift, Monday-Friday, some Saturdays)

Responsibilities

The NP/PA will be an integral member of our care team and will:

Perform

comprehensive patient assessments

, including medical histories, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluations

Diagnose and treat

acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions

Develop and implement care plans

in collaboration with the healthcare team

Prescribe medications and order tests

as needed Provide

patient education

on disease prevention, treatment options, and self-care techniques

Collaborate with providers and staff

to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care Maintain compliance with professional standards, state/federal regulations, and ethical guidelines
Qualifications

Required:

NP pathway:

Active Minnesota APRN license

and

national NP certification (AANP/ANCC)

PA pathway:

Active Minnesota PA license

and

NCCPA

certification Current BLS/ACLS preferred Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills Comfortable working independently within scope and collaborating as part of a team Ability to commute/relocate to Minneapolis, MN 55406

Preferred:

Prior experience in

urgent care, primary care, internal medicine, or geriatrics

Procedural comfort with laceration repair, I&D, splinting, and musculoskeletal complaints Bilingual

Somali

strongly preferred EHR experience (

Practice Fusion

a plus) DEA registration (or eligibility) and NPI
Compensation & Schedule

Pay:

From $65.00/hour (experience-based, negotiable)

Schedule:

16-32 hours per week, Monday-Friday, day shifts (Some Saturday's)
