Nurse Practitioner Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care across various settings. This role requires proficiency in a wide range of medical practices, including but not limited to primary care, urgent care, and specialty services. The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat patients effectively.

Duties



Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Perform diagnostic evaluations and interpret laboratory results. Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and other treatments as required. Provide education to patients regarding health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies. Manage acute and chronic conditions in various patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and critical care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Participate in clinical research initiatives as needed. Stay current with advancements in medical practices and technologies.

Skills


The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks. Experience with critical care settings including ICU and Level I/II trauma centers. Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems. Expertise in specialties such as gastroenterology, infectious disease care, and pain management. Familiarity with procedures such as suturing, catheterization, spinal tap, and airway management. Strong background in behavioral health, geriatrics, hospice & palliative medicine. Experience in telehealth services and outpatient care settings. Ability to perform physical examinations and vital sign assessments accurately. Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education. Candidates who have experience working with diverse populations or those who have specialized training in areas such as esthetic laser treatment or family planning are encouraged to apply. Pay: $84,882.66 - $102,224.28 per year
