Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, highly skilled
Nurse Practitioner (NP)
with experience or strong interest in
pain management
to join our growing team. This role requires travel between our Homestead and Kendall offices (typically on a set weekly schedule).
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations
Manage chronic and acute pain patients under physician supervision and clinic protocols
Perform follow-up visits, medication management, and education on treatment plans
Interpret diagnostic tests and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
Document all patient encounters accurately in the EMR
Maintain strong communication and rapport with patients, families, and staff
Comply with all state and federal regulations related to controlled substances
Qualifications:
Active
Florida Nurse Practitioner license
(required)
National certification (AANP or ANCC)
Experience in pain management, orthopedics, neurology, or primary care preferred
DEA license (or eligibility to obtain)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Willingness to travel regularly between Homestead and Kendall offices
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
Schedule & Compensation:
Full-time schedule
Travel between clinic locations required
