Seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join a workplace-based primary care clinic.Key Responsibilities:
Perform physical examinations and implement preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and in accordance with physician instructions. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patients' clinical conditions and healthcare needs. Record physical findings, formulate treatment plans, and provide written instructions to patients. Work with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive patient care plans. Prescribe or recommend medications and treatments (e.g., physical therapy, respiratory therapy). Refer patients to physicians or specialized health resources when appropriate. Maintain accurate and timely medical records (may include EMR systems such as Epic).
Qualifications:
Active NP license in Indiana Active Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP) certification Current BLS, ACLS may be required depending on the scope of services. DEA is preferred Previous experience in a primary care, urgent care, occupational health, emergency department or a similar setting is preferred. Proficiency in Epic EMR preferred.
