Job Description
NutriHealth, a leading outpatient private practice, is actively seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team. We focus on science-based weight management, aiming to transform lives through personalized and comprehensive obesity treatment. Our integrated approach includes:
Key Components of Treatment:
Pharmacotherapy:
Prescribing and managing medications as a component of the overall treatment plan, including monitoring patient response and making necessary adjustments.Nutrition Planning:
Collaborating with dietitians to create and provide continuous support for individualized healthy eating and nutrition plans.Behavioral Health:
Implementing behavior therapy techniques to address the emotional and behavioral factors that contribute to obesity, offering support to help patients navigate their weight loss challenges.Fitness Integration:
Incorporating exercise and fitness recommendations into patient treatment plans, and working closely with patients to establish realistic goals and track progress.
Qualifications:
Current Nurse Practitioner license Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner Preferred: Experience in weight management, obesity treatment, or a related field Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
