: Family Nurse Practitioner or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner - Full-Time Position (Monday through Friday) | Chattanooga, TN Area
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join our healthcare team in the Chattanooga, TN area. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, providing primary and preventative care to patients in a collaborative and supportive environment. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering high-quality patient care, fostering patient relationships, and working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive healthcare services to our pediatric patient population (FNP) or (PNP), including health assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
Conduct physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate.
Develop individualized patient care plans and provide patient and family education on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to best practice standards in clinical care.
Practice within a patient-centered medical home (PCMH) model, contributing to a team-based approach that emphasizes coordinated, comprehensive, and accessible care for pediatric patients. Work in a facility accredited by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), upholding rigorous standards for quality, safety, and patient experience.
Qualifications
Current and unrestricted RN and APRN licenses in the state of Tennessee.
Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) by an accredited national certifying body (e.g., ANCC, PNCB, AANP).
Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Experience in primary care or pediatric settings preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
BLS/CPR certification required.
Work Schedule
Full-time: Monday through Friday
No regular weekend
On-call hours to be split with MD
