What You'll Do:
Conduct wound assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor healing.
Perform wound debridement, dressing changes, and advanced wound therapies.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, nurses, therapists) on wound management.
Educate patients and families on wound prevention and care in the home.
Document and track patient outcomes using evidence-based wound care practices.
Provide consultations in community, home, and acute care settings as needed.
What You'll Bring:
Master's degree in nursing and certification by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
One year of recent clinical nursing experience required.
Current R.N. license in the State of Maine.
Current CPR Card.
WOCN or equivalent wound care certification (required)
Must have a reliable and insured automobile and have a current Maine driver's license.
Independent malpractice insurance strongly advised.
