Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse Injector to join our luxury medical spa team. The ideal candidate will have a strong nursing background with specialized experience in administering botulinum toxin treatments, dermal fillers, and otjer injectable treatments. This role requires clinical expertise, artistry, and a passion for patient care. The Nurse Injector will play a crucial role in enhancing the aesthetic outcomes for our clients while ensuring their safety, comfort, and overall experience.

Responsibilities



Administer Botox, dermal fillers, and other injectable treatments following established protocols and safety guidelines. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and evaluating suitability for procedures. Educate patients on treatment options, expected outcomes, post-procedure care, and potential risks. Maintain accurate medical documentation of procedures performed in accordance with HIPAA regulations and clinic policies. Monitor patients during and after procedures to manage any adverse reactions or complications promptly. Collaborate with Medical Director to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs. Ensure all injection techniques adhere to aseptic methods to prevent infection and promote optimal results. Stay current with advancements in aesthetic medicine, new products, and techniques through ongoing professional development. Comply with all healthcare regulations including OSHA standards, infection control protocols, and state licensing requirements.

Requirements



Valid nursing license (RN or NP) with current licensure in the state of practice. Proven experience administering injections such as botulinum toxin treatments, dermal fillers, or related procedures; prior esthetic or dermatology experience preferred. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks for documentation purposes. Knowledge of anatomy relevant to facial injections as well as physiology knowledge for safe practice. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to aesthetic procedures and patient care. Experience working within a clinical setting that emphasizes sterile technique and infection control practices. Ability to assess patient needs accurately using physical examinations and diagnostic evaluation skills. Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration. Ability to work independently while following physician directives and clinic protocols. Additional skills such as familiarity with medical imaging (sonography), laser treatments (esthetic laser), or post-acute care experience are advantageous but not required. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $44.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week
