This position is located at the SC Dept. of Mental Health at Santee-Wateree Community Mental Health Center (CMHC) at the Camden Clinic, located on 2611 Liberty Hill Road, Camden, S.C. 29020.
Under limited supervision, provide excellent nursing care to clients in an environment that is respectful to others, adaptive to change, and accountable for outcomes, and in collaboration with psychiatrists, physicians, case managers and other mental health providers.
Direct Clinical Care: Provides high quality, age appropriate and individualized, goal-directed services to clients and families at the competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process. Provides comprehensive assessment for clients whose needs range from uncomplicated to complex. Organizes and prioritizes nursing care activities considering the needs of the clients and other factors. Provides age-appropriate interventions to clients based on individual needs and consistent with the client POC.
Safety: Delivers safe and effective care in collaboration with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results using established outcome measures to evaluate effectiveness of care.
Compliance: Consistently adheres to Corporate Compliance and all other policies and procedures, as well as the Code of Conduct of the organization. Documentation meets the requirements of the organization based on CARF, SCDMH, SWCMHC and any other applicable laws and standards.
Productivity: Meets productivity requirements as outlined by Center Administration.
Performs other nursing and related duties as required. Ability to travel throughout the Santee-Wateree catchment area as directed. State Requirements: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and related nursing experience.
Agency Requirements: Licensed as a RN by the SC Board of Nursing.

Santee-Wateree CMHC is also an approved site of the National Health Service Corps, (NHSC), Nurse Core, which offers student loan repayment of up to $50,000 to employees of NHSC-approved sites. You must be a US citizen, you must be licensed to practice independently in the state where you are hired, and you must have unpaid government or commercial school loans.
