Valley Hospital Medical Center

Located in the heart of Las Vegas, Valley Hospital Medical Center is an acute care and teaching hospital that has provided high quality healthcare to residents of Southern Nevada since 1972. Responsible for performing patient care/service activities/procedures as outlined by the state board of nursing and within the Nevada Nurse Practice Act. Performs assigned duties under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
Qualifications

Job Requirements:

Education:
Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program and has completed at least the first semester of the nursing program.

Experience:
None required, but preferred

License:
Current BLS Certification

Other:
Nurse Apprentice must provide most current competency check-off list from their school to their supervising manager and maintain current competencies. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the population served.

Salary Range:
$15.00 to $16.00 per hour
