Heritage Imaging is seeking a reliable and patient-focused individual to join our team as a
Nuclear Medicine Driver / Patient Care Assistant (PCA).
This hybrid role combines the safe transport and setup of our mobile Nuclear Medicine unit with direct patient care support for our technologists. You'll play a key role in ensuring efficient site operations, patient safety, and a positive imaging experience.
Schedule:
This position will provide coverage at our clinic locations in Colfax, Washington; Libby, Montana; and Ellensburg, Washington. As we continue expanding in Nuclear Medicine, additional sites may be added. Days and hours will be determined. 26-30 hours to start, with additional hours anticipated in the near future.

Truck Operations:
Safely operate and transport the mobile Nuclear Medicine unit to assigned sites.
Perform and document pre- and post-trip safety inspections, including brakes, air systems, and general vehicle condition.
Maintain accurate driver, service, and maintenance logs; promptly report and enter work orders for issues.
Keep vehicle serviced, clean, organized, and secured at all times.
Assist with site setup and breakdown of the unit to ensure readiness for patients.
PCA:
Greet patients and families with professionalism and compassion; clearly explain procedures as appropriate.
Verify patient identity, review screening questions, and obtain required documentation (e.g., implant clearance, prior reports).
Assist patients with preparation (removing metal objects, changing clothing, mobility support, transfers/lifts).
Support technologists during procedures by helping position patients, preparing exam rooms, and monitoring patient flow.
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA policies at all times.
Monitor supplies, restock as needed, and help maintain a safe, clean, and orderly environment per company policy.
Report any patient incidents, accidents, or complaints promptly and complete required documentation.
Participate in patient scheduling, tracking, or follow-up tasks when needed.
Non-Essential Functions:
Other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the team and organization.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record (CDL not required).
Experience operating large box trucks or similar vehicles preferred (air brake/DOT knowledge a plus).
Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days) and TB screening (may be completed upon hire).
Prior healthcare or patient care experience preferred (CNA, MA, or similar background ideal).
Knowledge of medical terminology a plus.
Ability to lift/push/pull 50-100 lbs and perform frequent standing, bending, and reaching.
Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
