Safely operate heavy equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse
Manage inventory control processes using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to track stock levels accurately
Assist in stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for delivery with precision and efficiency
Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to maintain optimal stock levels in accordance with warehouse management protocols
Support shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, inspecting goods for damage or discrepancies, and ensuring proper documentation
Utilize mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing routine maintenance on heavy machinery
Follow OSHA safety guidelines diligently during all tasks to promote a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues
Prior experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is highly preferred
Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, cranes, forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and effectively
Familiarity with inventory management systems (including AS400 or similar platforms) and RF scanners for order fulfillment and stock tracking
Knowledge of materials handling techniques, packaging procedures, and shipping & receiving processes
Experience with warehouse supervision or leadership roles is a plus but not required; strong teamwork skills are essential
Mechanical aptitude or construction background can be beneficial for understanding equipment maintenance needs
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during stock stocking, order picking & packing activities
