Responsibilities

Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using RF scanners and order picker equipment Operate heavy machinery such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment safely and effectively Manage inventory control through accurate stock counting, replenishment, and updating warehouse management systems (WMS) including AS400 Load and unload shipments with precision, ensuring proper handling of materials and adherence to safety protocols in accordance with OSHA standards Maintain organized storage areas by stocking products systematically and conducting regular inventory audits Assist in shipping & receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments and documenting transactions accurately Support warehouse distribution activities by coordinating with team members to optimize workflow and ensure timely order fulfillment

Skills

Proven experience in warehouse operations, including inventory management and materials handling Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, crane systems, pallet jacks, and order pickers with mechanical knowledge of their functions Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) like AS400 for inventory control and order processing Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse safety procedures Skilled in picking & packing orders efficiently while maintaining accuracy using RF scanners or manual methods Experience with shipping & receiving processes, including load & unload procedures and documentation compliance Prior warehouse supervisor experience is a plus for leadership roles within the team
