Client is a warm, resilient woman living at home with her husband. After suffering a major stroke a few months ago and beating a 2-week prognosis, she is now working hard through home physical therapy and slowly regaining mobility. She is currently bedbound but eager to use her Hoyer lift several times per week as she continues her recovery.
Client cannot be left alone and relies on caregivers for all personal care and safety needs while her husband works during the day.
Duties & Responsibilities
Caregivers will provide essential day-to-day support, including:
Personal Care
Daily bed baths
Brief changes
Catheter care & emptying
Repositioning every 2 hours
Assistance with Hoyer lift (goal: 3x/week)
Home Support
Housekeeping & tidying
Laundry (high priority)
Light meal prep
Charting/documentation in the home binder every visit
Important Notes
No medication management required--husband handles all medications.
Non-smoking caregivers only.
Maintain professionalism; keep personal conversation to a minimum.
If personal care tasks are complete, caregivers are expected to assist with cleaning and staying productive.

Do you have experience working with clients who are bedbound or recovering from a major medical event such as a stroke?
The client is a non-smoker and cannot be left alone. Are you able to work in a non-smoking environment and remain engaged and productive throughout the entire shift?
Are you comfortable providing full-assist personal care, including bed baths, brief changes, catheter care, repositioning, and using a Hoyer lift?

What is your minimum expected hourly rate?
Do you hold a valid driver's license? If so, please indicate the month and the year of your expiration date. Additionally, do you have a reliable vehicle and active auto insurance? Are you able to provide transportation for clients when necessary? (PLEASE NOTE: Reliable transportation and the ability to drive clients are required. If you cannot meet these requirements, we are not able to process your application further.)
Our paid training and skills assessment is conducted in-person at our Medford office. What day are you available to attend the full session from 9AM to 5PM (Thursday or Friday)?
