Note Department at our Main Branch in New Albany, MS.
: Servicing customers with their banking needs.
Essential Job Duties:
Data Input; Loading loans into the system.
Balancing loan entries, checking for proper documentation
Teller transactions; Processing loan payments, deposits, credit card payments, etc.
Balancing cash drawer
Filing; File note documents--titles, deeds of trust, credit memos, insurance verifications, etc. in the proper files.
Telephone; Customer inquiries about note payments, past due notices received, making payments over the phone, or requesting payoffs.
Payoffs requested by other institutions.
Credit Checks
Paid Out Notes; Release paid notes and titles to customers.
Back-up; Cross-trained to fill in for co-workers on vacation or sick.
